IS THERE A CALLOUT CHARGE?
ACL has never operated a call-out charge system. When booking a visit from an engineer you will be given a price for the work to be carried out, and there will be nothing added to the callout.
ARE YOUR ENGINEERS DBS CHECKED?
Yes, all our engineers are DBS checked. They will always be happy to identify themselves and your safety is their key priority.
WILL YOU ALWAYS REPLACE MY DOOR LOCK?
Wherever possible we use specialist, non-destructive techniques that do not require us to break your door! If a lock required drilling out, then this will need to be replaced at the time.
CAN YOU WORK ON UPVC?
Yes, we can handle any type of UPVC lock or window lock and have fast, cost-effective access to parts and replacements.
WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER?
We cover Dunstable and all surrounding areas including, but not exclusive to, Leighton Buzzard, Milton Keynes and Aylesbury.
HOW DO I PAY?
We carry a payment machine to take your payment in the case of an emergency callout, and also accept cash. Customers are required to pay the engineer at the time of the visit and will always receive an invoice covering the job.
WILL I NEED TO GET NEW KEYS CUT?
In the case of a replacement of any barrel or lock, new keys will be given to you at the time. Commonly, there will be three keys included with a new lock.
HOW QUICKLY CAN YOU GET ME INSIDE?
We usually can provide access to residential and commercial lockouts within 10-30 minutes.
